The Man enters the village of San Miguel in the Middle of a power struggle among sheriff John Baxter and the three Rojo brothers. The stranger slides himself to the middle of this battle, attempting to sell false info to either side to his own benefit when the Rojo brothers waylay a regiment of Mexican soldiers.
