His awkward teenaged son regularly embarrasss though Goofy means well. When the lighthearted prank on his high school principal of Max finally gets his longtime crush to see him he asks her. Max's trouble at school convinces Goofy that he and the boy should bond on a cross-country fishing trip like the one he took with his dad when he had been Max's age, which throws a kink in his son's intends.
