When middle-aged Kata realizes that having a child of her own will make her life complete, her longtime but married boyfriend Joska refuses to agree. But via her unexpected friendship with the troubled young orphan Anna, who is also in a contentious relationship, Kata learns things about herself and her place as a woman that she had never really thought about in her entire, lonely life.
