A strange Indian group kidnaps the eldest girl of a pioneer family, and her son chases. To regain his sister's freedom, he must pass the "Crooked Sky" challenge and shield her from an executioner's arrow. He recruits a drunken prospector to assist him find the unknown tribe and rescue his sister.
