In 1909, Denmark's Alabama Expedition led by Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen was attempting to disprove the USA' case to North-Eastern Greenland, a case that was rooted in the idea that Greenland was broken up into 2 various parcels. Leaving their staff behind with the ship, Mikkelsen sleds throughout the ice with his unskilled team member, Iver Iversen.
