Air America has been the CIA airline operating in Laos during the Vietnam War, running everything and anything from soldiers to food stuffs for local villagers. Billy Covington is recruited to it, after losing his pilot license, and eventually ends up inside the center of gun-running by his friend Gene Ryack a whole lot of pilots that were lunatic, also opium smuggling by their superiors.
