Kurt Gerstein -- a member of the Waffen-SS of the Institute for Hygiene -- is horrified by what he sees in the death camps. He is subsequently shocked to understand that the process by using ZyklonB, he was used to purify water due to his troops, is utilised to kill people in gas chambers.
