Lt. Col. Iceal"Ham" Hambleton is just a weapon countermeasures expert when his aircraft has been taken over enemy land that the Air Force very much wants to get back him. Hambleton knows the location he is in goes to be more carpet bombed but a shortage of excruciating causes a delay. Working with an Air Force reconnaissance pilot, Capt. Bartholomew Clark, he traces out an escape route.
