Fighter pilot Chris Burnett photographs some thing he was not likely to see and has taken down behind enemy lines, by which he has to outrun an army led by a callous scripted general while flying a regular reconnaissance mission over Bosnia. With time and a mortal tracker on his own course, Burnett's commanding officer makes the decision to risk his career and establish a yearlong rescue mission to rescue his lifetime.
