Zorg, a repairman who doubles as a writer, is attracted to Betty Blue, a sexually aggressive free spirit with mental health issues. With each encounter, they become more infatuated with one another. Over the course of a long period of time, Betty's inability to maintain a stable state of mind becomes evident.
