Back in Paris, Bob Montagne is practically interchangeable with betting -- and winning. He is kind, tasteful and well-known by everyone in the city. When Bob's fortune turns sour, he begins to lose friends and gets the desperate bet of his entire life to commemorate the Deauville casino throughout Grand Prix weekend, even when the vaults are full. Regrettably, Bob discovers that the game is rigged and the cops are on to him.
