David is a painter as well as a marijuana user. He's smitten by the lovely and seductive Serena, and everything is going swimmingly until David's house burns down. Serena doesn't need the bad feelings, so she parts up with Tommy, a rocker and junkie, and flees to New York. To forget about his lost home and love, lonely David clings to the sweet, sweet comfort of marijuana and his bizarre menagerie of companions.
