Rockit sets off on a fantastic vacation with his dad, Bosch, as he tries to figure out why his mom hasn't returned, only to find out they're actually evading the law. Though Rockit finds true love with Ash Ash and later in high school, it is the ocean that ultimately provides him with the peace and stability he lacked growing up. Finally, Rockit is a boy who has been cared for and comforted by the natural world.
