Jesse must get out of Las Vegas fast, also steals a vehicle to drive into L.A. On the way he shoots a police person. When he gets it to L.A. he remains with Monica, a girl he's known for a day or two. Since the film progresses, the police get closer to him, and the offenses escalate.
