A group of pupils arrives in a town throughout a hiking expedition. When there, the regional clergyman charges them of being communist agitators on the run from an army crack-down versus student presentations in close-by Mexico City and also rallies the townsfolk to lynch them. Based upon true realities happened in the community of Canoa in 1968.
