Max Lowe is just a Houston surgeon who has grown weary of this bureaucracy of medicine. If he loses a patient on the table, Max decides to leave America and traveling to India in the expectation of finding himself. Not long after he arrives in Calcutta, Max is assaulted with a group of thugs and left without any a passport or money.
