When Chicago firefighter Jack Moniker retires and relocates to a small Caribbean island, he meets the proprietor of a run-down resort and becomes friends with him. Together they refurbish the resort and promote Club Paradise to attract tourists, fending off unscrupulous officials and businessmen who want to purchase it.
