Needing a partner with the capacity Richard Gaddis, of complicated cons, recruits Rodrigo, a crook with a poker face. The two plan a big-time scam: attempting to sell a Silver Certificate to currency collector William Hannigan. His partner that is newest is distrusted by rodrigo, but needs money to help out his ailing dad. The problem becomes complicated when Rodrigo drops for Gaddis' sister drawing another player.
