Mack is a previous soldier who, after the battle, transferred to a town with a nuclear power plant, where virtually everybody works. Life is tranquil for him there, up until a gang of mercenaries led by Ron storm the reactor and take everyone hostage, including a team of children on a school trip. Now Mack remains in a race against the clock and should utilize his military training to beat Ron prior to he places the reactor right into disaster. Along the way he discovers Ron's motive, which unwinds a greater secret Mack's community is concealing.
