The wife and mistress of a cruel school master collaborate in a carefully planned and implemented attempt to murder him. The master plan goes well until disappears. The breed starts to educate on the two women being a retired police investigator who is looking into the disappearance on the whim begins to consider they know more than they are telling, and also their own emotional condition is not helped when their victim is seen, apparently alive and by one of many pupils.
