In 1914, a British nurse named Anne (Linn Bjrnland) manages to get away from an attack on her outpost in Africa, but she is killed. An African war party is after her, and with the help of her uncle, an Army Captain (Eric Roberts), and local warriors, she goes on an epic journey across the African hills. She has to balance her bravery with her pacifist beliefs in order to deliver a native girl to her mother, get back together with her husband, and save a nearby outpost from being massacred.
