Thriller about Guy Luthan (Hugh Grant), a British physician working at a hospital at New York who starts making undesired enquiries once the body of a guy who died in his er vanishes. The trail leads Luthan to the doorway of this distinguished surgeon doctor Lawrence Myrick (Gene Hackman), but Luthan soon finds himself under in danger from folks who want a medical facility's secret to remain undiscovered.
