Dr. Génessier is bombarded with guilt after an accident he caused disfigures the face of his union, the once amazing Christiane, that outsiders believe is dead. Dr. Génessier, along with accomplice and laboratory helper Louise, kidnaps ladies and brings them into the Génessier mansion. After rendering his victims unconscious, Dr. Génessier removes his faces and efforts to graft them Christiane's.
