After a terrible air disaster, survivor Max Klein emerges a changed person. Unable to get in touch to wife or even to his life Laura, '' he feels god-like and invulnerable. When psychologist Bill Perlman is unable to help Max, he's got Max meet another survivor since her baby died from the crash that she and Max survived.
