Kot's producer, Wong Kar-wai, wants him to make a movie about first love. As he works on the project, Kot thinks about his creative process, the ideas he didn't use, and finally the two stories he chose: one about a sleepwalker who is led through the night by a lonely admirer, and the other about a married convenience store owner who is confronted by the angry first love he rejected.
