Inmates of a private underground prison will be computer-controlled in the future, with cameras, dream readers, and devices that can cause pain or death. John (Christopher Lambert) and his illegally pregnant wife Karen (Loryn Locklin) are imprisoned inside "The Fortress," but they are determined to escape before their baby is born.
