Youthful sitter Amanda reaches the Lloyd residence to invest the night taking care of their young child. Soon after the Lloyds leave, a series of frightening occurrences in the bleak old house have Amanda's nerves on edge. The genuine terror begins, however, when the child's biological father shows up after just recently escaping from a neighboring mental institution.
