Karl, a tech at a computer system shop, can be the"Address Book Killer," who obtains the titles of his victims out of stolen address novels. Her son Josh and terry come to price applications into the store, and a sales man uses Terry's address book to demonstrate a scanner. Karl obtains the record, and while driving to Terry's house that night at a heavy rainstorm, his car runs off the street and lands upside down. While Karl is getting a CAT scan at the hospital, even Karl's soul, and a surge of lightning paths throughout the construction is transformed into electrical energy. Karl utilizes the electric grid and computer networks to continue his killing spree.
