In 1943, a number of secondary school students come to the conclusion that they must fight back against the Nazi occupation forces. They succeeded in blowing up the Kommandantur and freeing the hostages thanks to their bravery and their creative thinking. However, following the death of a German soldier, the Nazi police apparatus takes retaliatory action. The young people who resisted are taken into custody, and two of them are ultimately sentenced to death.
