Edith and his mother, edie Bouvier Beale, two aging family members of Jackie Kennedy Onassisare the only inhabitants of a Long Island real estate. The ladies reveal themselves to be misfits with engaging characters. Much of the dialog is centered as kid and mother infrequently leave home.
