An Iranian immigrant buys a California bungalow, believing he could fix it up, sell it , and make enough cash to send his kid. Nevertheless, the house is the land of drug addict Kathy. She is left with no where to go after losing the house in an unfair legal dispute with the county. She hires a lawyer and befriends a police officer. Neither Kathy nor Behrani have broken the law, therefore they are engaged with a tough ethical issue.
