In coffins students, for example young Iris, appear at an unusual private school for girls. The establishment's teachers, Mademoiselle Eva and Mademoiselle Edith, introduce Iris and her fellow students to the college's curriculum, which includes fairy-like dances by way of a nearby forest. The older girls, that are on the brink of womanhood, are subsequently given mysterious lessons, when night falls.
