Two close friends are enjoying life to the fullest in the bohemian neighborhood of Montmartre in Paris. Mathieu is a sculptor, whereas Jean-Luc makes cabinets for a living. Then they both find the person they will spend the rest of their lives with, and they make the decision to get married. Sadly, the objects of their desire are not as enthusiastic about being dragged into matrimony as they would like to be.
