Jimmy Alto is an aspiring actor who happens to land the job of a lifetime. He becomes a vigilante crime-fighter with the help of his sidekick William, who suffers a head injuries and has short-term memory issues. Jimmy's vigilante alter ego quickly becomes a media sensation, but Jimmy remains a complete unknown, and his long-suffering gal pal Lorraine is growing tired of it all.
