Hammer gives a ride a stylish hitch hiker in a lonely country road, who's escaped from the local asylum. Thugs waylay them force his car to crash. He sees Christina being tortured before she dies when Hammer yields to semi-consciousness. Hammer, both for vengeance and in hopes that"something big" is behind it all, decides to pursue the situation.
