A grieving family whose daughter was killed in a drunk driving accident is enraged and upset by the anticipated bureaucratic delays. They are horrified when the young, overworked district attorney appears unable to overcome the technicalities and maneuverings used by the driver's attorney to keep his client out of jail and driving legally. When the judge is forced to rule repeatedly in favor of the defense, it looks the driver will get off easy.
