A solitary scientist creates a robot that is an exact replica of himself in order to embark on a long-term space journey. Because the scientist appears to be devoid of all human feeling, he is unable of programming them into his android, and an eccentric woman is hired to "teach" the robot on human conduct. Finally, she falls in love... but is it with the robot or Dr. Mr. Right?
