A wealthy self made individual , aging rancher George Washington McLintock, is forced to deal with numerous professional and personal problems. Seemingly everyone wants a piece of his farmstead, including government men, nearby indigenous Americans and McLintock's own toddlers. As McLintock tries to juggle his various adversaries, his spouse, who left him two decades suddenly returns. But she isn't thinking about her husband.
