Movie theater starlet Lillian Cooper's boy dies strangely. When the exploring police officer regulations the cause of death an unexpected overdose, Lillian performs her own examination which leads her to an unlikely alliance with her kid's previous drug dealer. On her quest for responses, Lillian visualizes some of the famous characters she's used stage which work as her inner guide, urging her to avenge her child's fatality.
