Jade, a star student, and her mother Frida, a crime novelist, get along swimmingly. Jade joins her bad-boy crush Rick in a series of high-profile burglaries to pay off Frida's debts. Rick's group has other intentions as she tries to leave the criminal world, and Jade and Frida must fight for their lives.
