Modern grave robbers discover well preserved historical specimens of a man, a woman, and their child. Innocently, the scientist and his two fumbling assistants have discovered vampires restrained solely by paper spells. The vampire child escapes and befriends several local children while being transported to a buyer. The parent vampires awaken and flee, but the village herbalist is on their trail.
