In 19th Century Paris, the maniacal Dr. Mirakle kidnaps girls as well as injects them with ape blood in an attempt to prove ape-human kinship. He regularly satisfies failure as the abducted women die. Clinical student Pierre Dupin uncovers what Mirakle is doing too late to prevent the abduction of his sweetheart Camille. Currently he desperately attempts to enlist the aid of the authorities to get her back.
