Emma is a divorced woman who has a teenage son. She moves to a small town and tries to start a horse ranch. Murphy is the town's druggist, and she gets a lot of business from people who go to her. It looks like everything is going as planned until her ex-husband shows up. He needs somewhere to stay. Emma's son likes Murphy, but he wants his father back so much.
