The stage play Meine Kusine aus Warschau (My Cousin from Warsaw) was the inspiration for the film Meine Kusine aus Warschau. A romantic farce in which the heroine pretends to be her own cousin in order to have two lovers at the same time, it is set in the nineteenth century.
