The amateur photographer Charles inadvertently takes an image of Laura - and also falls in love with her, even when the picture is developed by him. He finds out that she works as singer in a pub, but is going to be thrown out. Although rejected initially by the 23 years of age, he wants to help her and starts a ad campaign behind her back... with unexpected results.
