C.R. MacNamara will do anything to find a promotion within the Coca-Cola company, including looking after manager W.P. Hazeltine's rebellious teenaged daughter, Scarlett. After Scarlett visits Berlin, where C.R. is stationed, she shows that she is married into a Greek named Otto Piffl -- and C.R. recognizes that Otto's anti-establishment position will battle along with his manager's own political viewpoints, possibly jeopardizing his promotion.
