It's the opening night of Myrtle Gordon's latest play, about an aging actress who's struggling with her drinking. In an attempt to catch Myrtle's attention, one night, a car murders a fan. Myrtle internalizes the accident and goes on a spiritual search, but comes up empty-handed. As opening night approaches, delicate Myrtle must find a way to carry on.
