This film originated as a drama in Paris. The narrative focuses on the adventures of Bertrand Barnier played with a genius of theatre, Louis de Funes. At precisely the same morning he learns his son is pregnant, a member of staff stole a sizable sum of money from his employer, in order to wed a neighbor his maid is all going to resign and his own body builder is thinking about marrying his daughter. The complicated story-line is saturated in humor or errors and some of the most hilarious mime scenes of the French cinema.
