PE PE le Moko, one of France's most wanted criminals, hides out in the Casbah section of Algiers. He knows if he tries to leave the town police will probably be waiting for him. When PE PE matches a woman from Paris who is lost from the Casbah, Gaby Gould, he falls on her. She reminds him of the things he loves around Paris. While PE PE knows he is being siphoned by Inspector Slimane, he considers a future with Gaby.
