The dawn of a little city Labour Day picnic, a drifter (Hal Carter) blows into town to go to an old fraternity friend (Alan Benson) who also appears to be the son of the richest person in the city. Hal is an braggart - no accomplishment all potential. He meets up with Madge Owens, the town beauty queen and buddy of Alan Benson.
